AI Receptionist ("we", "our", "us") provides a WhatsApp-based AI assistant platform for restaurants. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our service.
2. Information We Collect
Name, email address, and business name when you sign up.
Menu items, business hours, address, and payment configuration you provide during onboarding.
When you connect your WhatsApp Business Account via Meta Embedded Signup, we receive your WhatsApp Business Account ID, phone number, and an access token to send/receive messages on your behalf.
Messages sent by your customers via WhatsApp are processed by our AI to handle orders, reservations, and inquiries.
3. How We Use Information
- To provide and operate the AI receptionist service for your restaurant.
- To process customer orders and inquiries via WhatsApp on your behalf.
- To improve our AI models and service quality.
- To send you service-related notifications.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share information only with:
To facilitate WhatsApp messaging via the WhatsApp Business API.
Message content is processed by AI services (OpenAI) to generate responses. No personally identifiable customer data is stored by AI providers beyond the processing window.
Hosting and database services (Supabase, Vercel) that store data on our behalf.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account and restaurant data as long as your account is active. Conversation data is retained for 90 days for service quality purposes. You can request deletion of your data at any time.
6. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), hashed passwords, and access controls to protect your data.

You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and data
